Job Description
The Field Sales Representative at Royal Mabati Factory is tasked with actively engaging clients in the field to boost sales and expand the company's market presence. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be proactive in lead generation, adept at converting prospects into loyal customers, and committed to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations to potential clients.
- Follow up on leads and quotations to ensure timely deal closures.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Promptly respond to client inquiries, provide after-sales support, and resolve any issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for client retention and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new market segments and business opportunities.
- Conduct competitor analysis and provide valuable market intelligence.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and various promotional events.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products and their competitive advantages.
- Educate clients on product features, pricing, and benefits.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align field sales activities with promotional campaigns.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, client visits, and pipeline status.
- Submit regular reports on performance, market feedback, and expenses.
- Support management in sales forecasting and planning by offering field insights.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the sales team.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in field sales or business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be self-motivated, results-driven, and target-oriented.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in the field.
