Sales Assistant

Kilimall Kenya is an e-commerce platform operating in the retail sector, founded in 2014 and based in Nairobi.

The Sales Assistant at Kilimall Kenya will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team's daily operations and customer engagement. This involves preparing essential sales documentation such as quotations, sales orders, and invoices, alongside generating basic sales reports. A key aspect of the role is maintaining accurate and current customer records and files. The assistant will also be responsible for managing customer communications through calls, emails, and messages, ensuring effective coordination with internal departments. Furthermore, the position entails supporting communication with dealers and distributors and assisting with after-sales coordination, in addition to undertaking other administrative tasks as assigned by the sales team.

1. Provide daily support to the sales team, including sales activities and customer follow-up.
2. Prepare sales-related documents such as quotations, sales orders, and invoices, and generate basic sales reports.
3. Maintain and update customer records and filing systems to ensure accuracy.
4. Handle customer inquiries and communications via phone, email, and messages, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
5. Assist with communication and after-sales coordination for dealers and distributors.
6. Execute other administrative tasks as assigned by the sales department.

1. Basic computer literacy and proficiency in office software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Demonstrated organizational abilities, attention to detail, responsibility, and a willingness to learn.
4. Basic proficiency in English communication; proficiency in Chinese is considered an advantage.
5. A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not strictly required.
6. No prior work experience is necessary; fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
