Job Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding Kilimall's market presence by identifying and securing new customers and business opportunities. The role requires achieving ambitious monthly and annual sales targets, specifically promoting solar inverters, lithium batteries, solar panels, and comprehensive energy storage systems. Key aspects include managing customer relationships, skillfully negotiating sales, and strategically developing a network of dealers, distributors, and sales channels. The manager will also be tasked with preparing detailed sales reports and providing regular market updates to inform business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Promote solar inverters, lithium batteries, solar panels, and energy storage systems.
- Manage customer relationships and sales negotiations.
- Develop dealers, distributors, and sales channels.
- Prepare sales reports and market updates.
Requirements
- Possess 2-5 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Prior experience in the solar, electrical, inverter, battery, or renewable energy sectors is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Have good knowledge of the Nairobi market.
- Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred.
- Experience with Chinese solar brands, inverters, or lithium batteries is highly preferred.
- Exhibit good English communication skills.
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, which is preferred.
